The Spook's Curse

The Spook's curse (Väktarens förbannelse) is the second out of 6 books. If you would like to know what the first book is about you can read my other post.

The Spook's curse starts with how Tom describes in detail, how he defets a very nasty boggart in the town near by. When the spook finds out that his brother had been killed, he and Tom head to Priestown where his brother is going to be buried. But Priestown is the favorite town for a Quisitor, a witchhunter who kills many innocent people in place of actual witches and would like nothing more than to get his hands on the spook.
But that is not all, Tom an the Spook has to try to find a way to defet the Bane

- a spirit of the dark that lives in the catacombs under Priestown. Influencing and corrupting the priests and pressing his victims flat to the ground. It seems to be impossible- especially when Tom finds out more about his master's background, in particular the rumours about a curse that has been placed on the spook since he first started the trade.

This is a really good and detailed book.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

I just finished reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time"! It's by Mark Haddon. It is about Christopher Boone, a 15 years old boy who has Asperger's syndrome. He lives with his dad in England. His mom is dead. Christopher is a very unique boy.

One night he discovers Wellington, the neighbours dog, speared by a garden fork. Mrs Shears, the owner of the dog, finds Wellington and she put the blame on Christopher. That's when all the drama starts. Christopher does everything from hitting a policeman and getting a warning, to finding letters that's about to change his life, and the next moment he finds out his mom is alive! That's why he travels by his own, all the way to London ..

I think the book is okay, but it could have been more detailed and specific. Also I didn't think it had a 'real' story.

The vampire diaries

The vampire diares, original book by L,J Smith, is almost the same as the tv-series. Elena has got everything, she is t he most popular girl in school, the leder, and can get any guy she whants. But when she meets the mysterious Stefan, she promidous her self that she is going to get him. No matter what. But Stefan is not the person he claims to be. He carries a secret, a secret that he has been carrying on for hundreds of years- Stefan is a vampire. Due this, Stefan is certain of protecting Elena from the danger from his past. Demon is Stefans hot and dangourus brother who is powerd by not onley his vengeance to his brother, but also his desire for Elena. When he shows up the brothers have to face eachother again, but this time as rivals for Elenas love.

This is a really good book. If you like this book i really recomend to read the others in the serie and to check out the tv-show baised on the book.

Tillsammans - Together

'Toghether' or 'Tillsammans' is about three friends Theresa, Jakob and Alexander who live in Stockholm. In the beggining of the first book they don't know each other but they meet later on a cooking course. The book is about when Theresa's dad thake the three friends out on stockholm's archipelago were they develope their friendship. But in the shadows a threat is waiting. Someone wants to find one of them.

I think this is a really good book and you can realy relate to some parts of the book.

I taket lyser stjärnorna

' I taket lyser stärnorna' is a book about 13 yaer old Jenna Wilsom with a mother who is dieing in cancer. She helps her mother with everything cleaning, cookingk, shopping e.x. Everything is going perfect until her mother collapses on the floor after a day of shopping. Jenna and her mother have to move in with her interfering and picky grandmother. Her best friend is called Sussana and they both hate a girl at school called Ulrika. She lives in the same building as Jennas grandmother and drinks, smokes and make lots of noice at night. Jenna dicides to go to Ulrikas party to impress a boy she likes called Sakke. After the party Jenna and Ulrika starts hanging out wich makes Jennas other friend Susanna very angry. She and Susanna have a really big fight in the dining room at school. In English the title is called in ' in the ceiling the stars are shining'.

I think that this is a really good book.

Dear John

John dropped out of school and enlisted in the army, not knowing what to do with his life, until he meets the girl of his derams, and her name was Savannah. Savannah lives with her father in their hometown. John spends his days at the beach. And one day when he meeat Savannah his whole life change. Savannah and Joah falls in love and spend their days togheter. John is still in the army and has to finish his tour of duty. John promest Savannah that he was going to write a letter to her every week, but Savannah feels that the long seperation between them is not good enought, and she falls in love with someone else. And they broke up. John feels that his heart is broken after the seperation and also that his father is dead just maks it all worse. John goes back to Savannahs hometown and tryes to find her. But he has to see the fact that Savannah is married to an other man, but John still findes it hard to see the truth that his true love is not there anny more.

I think that this story is pretty good and i would recommed it to other peolpe.

Jag finns, Maja-Maria Henriksson

This is a a chapter I made up by myself, for the book "Jag finns" in page 44.

Only after one single day I have totally emberresed myself infront of the new girl in the class. It was a big chance for me to finally get a friend, but as normally I destroyed it. I can't understand what is wrong with me, why isn't I like evrybody else? I sat quiet for a while and was just thinking for an answer, but I couldn't. There was no answer. I wasn't like everybody else, that was simply just how it was. I was maybe born to be different and bullied, I don't know.
I went in to our bathroom and just looked at my self in the mirror. "I understand why everybody hates me, just look at me, Iam so disgusting." I was so digusted by myself so I couldn't see myself in the mirror anymore. I threw the soap on the mirror so it became a big noise and the whole mirror splitted up into small peices over the whole floor. "Now I will also have 7 years with unluck, can't it get worse?", I thought for my self. My mom ran into the bathroom and screamed at me how stupid and bad I was. There a got an answer on my question; I get worse!
