Recommendation!

I recommend a book called "Boy Overboard" by Morris Gleitzman. It's about a 12 year old boy from Afghanistan called Jamal and his 9 year old sister Bibi. Their family have broken one of the Taliban rules and the government is after them. So Jamal's family decide to run away. Of course they didn't want to, but they had to. Jamal's family plan to go to Australia for a while. But will they ever get there? To find out...read the book!
Jamal is a kind and caring person. He helps his sister no matter what happens. Bibi is a stubborn girl who always wants everything she asks for.
I recommend this book because there is lots of adventure and "family love" in this book which I like. I think this book is for adventurous people.
There is also a sequel called Girl Underground which is also quite good.

STONE COLD by ROBERT SWINDELLS

Stone Cold - a book about family, friendship and worry
Stone Cold is a book about a 17 year old man called Link. His mother's boyfriend kicked him out from the house.
With fury, Link left the country for good and went to London and hoped for a better life. This was not a good idea because he didn't have any money, and it was stone cold in London.

So, Link must beg for money to survive and not starve.

Luckily, Link manages to find some friends that also need to beg for money in order to survive. They help him through a lot, but just as everything seems perfect to Link, his friends start disapearing, one after one. What if Link's next?

Link decides to go on a mission to find the criminal who possibly killed his friends. Luckily, Link find all the information he needs to catch the criminal. Apparantly, it's a man called Shelter who killed them. But as Link's hiding in the bushes, watching every Shelter's move, he doesn't notice Shelter's already seen him. One minute Link's outside hiding, the other he's inside Shelter's house, struggling for his life!
