My favourite books!

My favourite books are the Twilight books. These very exciting and good books are written by Stephenie Meyer. The first book (Twilight) is about Bella Swan who lives in Forks with her dad. In her new school she falls in love with a boy called Edward, but then she finds out that he's a vampire! But Bella doesn't care if he's a vampire. She still loves him. The rest of the books (New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) are about all the dangerous and exciting adventures that Bella and Edward explore.

I think these books are really romantic but also exciting. I like those kinds of books. The books are quite long but they are worth to read! To find out more....you have to read them!

Harry Potter

Suggestions!

Here are some books that I suggest. They are really good.
The twilight books are much better than the movies.

Together (Tillsammans)

I read the book "The fifth man" recently (I've written about it some posts before this one) and now I'm reading "Together" or the original title is "Tillsammans" by Denise Rudberg. It's in Swedish and it's really good.

It's about three ordinary teenagers called Alexander, Theresa and Jakob. They go to a cooking course for a week during the summer holiday. That's the place where they meet each other.

Alexander's dad is not a nice person. He hits Alexander, his sister and his mum. He also always goes on business trips all the time which irritates Alexander a bit.

One day, the three friends go on a small vacation with Theresa's dad to an island. During the vacation, Alexander falls in love with Theresa. Then he finds out that Jakob is that too, but they don't fight about her which is good. Then Alexander's dad finds out about the small vacation that Alexander was on. He tries to find him...

To find out what more happens in this amazing book, READ IT!!! :)

I think this book is good because it's about friendship and I like reading those kinds of books. It's also a little bit of violence in it but not a lot.

I still think "The fifth man" is better than this book. You can read my previous post and see what it is about.

Books 'n' Blogs Year 7: Boy Overboard

Books 'n' Blogs Year 7: Boy Overboard: "I dont really like this book becouse it´s abit boring for my taste. I´d rather read a action or even look at a action movie.I would suggest..."

The fifth man (Den femte mannen) by Carlo Laszlo

I read a swedish book recently called "The fifth man" and the author is Carlo Laszlo. It's about Anna and Arvin who are a couple.

A foreign shopkeeper was shot below the ear by a racist and Anna and Arvin saw the guilty one. Together with their friend Lasse they try to solve the mystery with the racist or the racists. They also try to convince the police that they know who shot the shopkeeper but they won't listen to them beacause they're only 16. Anna, Arvin and Lasse have many clues but there are some obstacles in the way.

Lasse is a very smart boy which is good when they're solving the mystery. Anna is a very brave girl which is a good benefit because then she will take risks. Arvin is not very brave but he anyway goes on the adventures that Anna and Lasse explore, but he is also a big part of solving the mystery.

I recommend this book to everyone who likes adventures and mysteries because it has a lot of that. I don't recommend this book to those who like reading love stories because there is not much of that. I think this book is very good because I love reading mysteries and adventures.

To find out why the book is called "The fifth man" you have to read this exciting book!!!

eragon

hi, read this book in fifth grade.
The poor peasant boy Eragon's life changes completely when one day he finds a beautiful blue stone that turns out to be a drakägg.
The egg hatches and Eragon and Saphira, dragonchild become the friends in secret. From the day tied their fates forever to each other.

This epic fantasy novel written by the only 15-year-old Christopher Paolini. By chance, it ended up in one of the largest publishers in the U.S. and was instantly huge hit when it was released. In just six months it was sold over a million copies and the book is now translated into several languages worldwide.

Written by a 15-year old and has everything a young reader wishes and more, dragons, elves, mystery, passion, conflict and love. An adventure story in the fantasy tradition enchanting style. Equally wonderful habit of fantasy readers for budding fantasy lovers.
And in the true spirit of fantasy is the story of Eragon is supposed to be a trilogy.

Boy Overboard

I dont really like this book bocouse it´s abit boring for my taste.
I´d rather read a action or even look at a action movie.
I would suggest this book for those who like drama, action and abit of adventure book´s. If i had too rate this book from 1 to 10 i would give it a 4.
The most important person in the is Jamal becouse he almost picks the tempo of the book becouse he tells what´s happening in third person. So that was my book review.

The Bro Code

The Bro Code is a hilarious book based on the (of course) Bro Code which has been mentioned a very long time ago. Now it's more based on the tv-series How I Met Your Mother, or to be more specific, the character Barneys belief in the Bro Code.

The book is written as if Barney himself wrote it, although it was actually Math Kuhn who wrote it. Anyway, the book is awesome, it's numbered with more than 100 rules that you should follow to be a so called bro. Heres some examples of some paragraphs in the Bro Code:

Appropriate "Bro" Usage: Inappropriate "Bro" Usage:

Nabroleon

Tom Brokaw

Bro Jackson

Teddy Broosevelt

Broce Springsteen

Inappropriate "Bro Usage:

Broan of Arc

Brovara Walters

Bro J. Simpson

Gerrardine Ferrarbro

Broko Ono

Although most people CAN read it, I guess you need some maturity to read it as it has got some nasty occasions and so on which can be inappropriate for some ages.

As said, it's a great book and I really recommend it for people who watches "How I met Your Mother".

A Thousand Splendid Suns

This book is about Mariam, who lives with her mother Nana in a little house, not big at all. They haven't got a lot of money.
They call Mariam a "harami" (bastard, or in swedish 'oäkting') because her mother was only a maid to Mariam's father Jahlil.
Her father's wives forced Mariam's mother out, and then built her a little house far from the village.
Mariam dreamt of living with her father since the very beginning of her life. She loves her father, even though her mother can't stand his actions, leaving both her and Mariam.
Jahlil visits Mariam every thursday, chatting with her and such. He tells her about the life in Herat, about the green and happiness.
Although, it all turns around as her mother died and her father forces her to marry a man she doesn't love.

This is a heartbreaking story about friendship, sorrow and power.

Hawksong

Hawksong is a book written by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.

The book is about two people. The Avian and the Serpiente. What both have in common is the ability to shift shape, the avians into beautiful birds and the serpiente into hauntingly beautiful snakes. The two people have been at war for as long as Danica Shardae, the heir to the avian throne, can remember, and she is tired of it! She is tired of losing everyone she loves to the Serpiente, tired of fighting a war she knows no one will ever win. So she sets out to make a deal with Zane Cobrianna the future leader of the Serpiente.
The book is set around 750 BCE and tells the story of Zane and Danica in an attempt to unite the two kingdoms.

This book is the first in the Kiesha'ra series. I love this book because it is beautifully written and describes everything so clearly. I also really admire the authour because she got her first novel published at the age of thirteen. The negative thing about the whole series is that every book is read from a new persons point of view so it can be very confusing. Another negative thing is that they are so thin that you have finished the book in about a day when reading slowly. All in all I really like this book.

Across The Nightingale Floor

I book I read recently is Across The Nightingale Floor byLian Hearn. It is the first book in the trilogy "Tales of the Otori."

It follows a sixteen year old boy named Takeo in a country much like Japan. His life is completely changed when his whole village burns down and he is adopted the mysterious Lord Otori Shigeru of Hagi. He starts a new life as heir to the throne in Hagi and the Otori Clan. But a mysterious organization called The Tribe claims Takeo as their own and they have dark plans for his future. Because Takeo has great magical powers- he can make himself invisible, he can be in two places at once, and has the ability to hear what other people cannot. In the view of The Tribe this makes him the perfect assassin, a deadly weapon. But before he can pledge his life to them he must take a very dangerous path, revenge. There is no time nor place for falling in love... but when Takeo meets the beautiful Kaede, he knows that his heart will never give her up.

I love this book. I first read when I was eleven years old and I have loved it ever since. What I love about the book is that it is written so beautifully and all the characters are described in such detail it feels as if they are next to you, actual existing people. Another thing that is wonderful about this book is that it doesn't move along so quickly that you have no time to understand what is happening. In all of her work, Lian Hearn writes so slowly, beautifully and in so much detail that you understand exactly what is happening and why. I

I would recommend this book to any one who likes reading in general.
